Jason Bell is an attorney with SWLA Injury Attorneys and has over 15 years of experience in personal injury claims in Lake Charles. He is a graduate of McNeese State University, where he earned a B.A. in English in 2002. This educational foundation led him to pursue law at Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006. The next year, Jason was admitted to the Louisiana Bar and gained his license to practice in the state of Louisiana.
Jason began his legal career as an Attorney/Partner at Cox, Cox, Filo, Camel & Wilson, LLC from 2007 to 2019. He then transitioned to Broussard & Williamson, LLC, where he worked from 2019 to 2023. With a practice that’s focused on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler/trucking accidents, and workers’ compensation, Jason’s experience in the field underlines his expertise and commitment to seeking justice for injured people. His longstanding connection to Lake Charles not only ties him to his roots but also provides a deep understanding of his community, enabling him to serve his clients with unmatched empathy and effectiveness.
Born and raised in Lake Charles, Jason temporarily left to pursue legal studies and moved back to the area upon receiving his degree. Outside of his career, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining an active lifestyle. He is an active member of Lake Charles Bible Church, where he holds positions on both the Elder Board and Building Committee.
